Narrative Description of the Project: Balochistan Nutrition Program for Mothers and Children (BNPMC) aims to contribute in the human development in Balochistan province by improving health outcomes and to address the endemic malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies in province through appropriate large scale interventions. Program also will contribute to achieve MDGs – 1, 4 and 5. The BNPMC has five main components which are as follows:
o Addressing general malnutrition among children, Pregnant and Lactating Women.
o Addressing Micronutrient Malnutrition.
o Behavior Change Communication.
o Strengthening institutional arrangements and capacity.
